WPCanada is pleased to announce that the Linky Loo child theme for the Genesis Framework has been updated to version 2.0.
V2.0 comes with a new widgetized home page that automatically falls back to a standard format if no widgets are active in the content area. The new home page contains 3 widget areas:
- Home Left
- Home Middle
- Home Right
To use the new widget areas download/install the Genesis Featured Widget Amplified plugin from the WordPress Plugin Directory.
This plugin gives you the ability to list individual tag groups. For instance, in one widget area you could display a list of headlines tagged with apples. In another you could display a list of headlines tagged with far out! Add as many widgets to the 3 widget areas as you want.
For information on how to configure the plugin to work with Linky Loo please refer to the image named configure-gfwa.png which you will find in the child theme’s image folder.
