BlogNews Theme Updated v2.4.0

The BlogNews child theme for the Genesis Framework has been updated to v2.4.0. This version sees the Genesis eNews widget once again restyled.

If you’ve been following along at home you’ll know that version 2.3.0 came with a newly restyled eNews widget. When inserted into the sidebar this is what the widget looked like. (see image below)

With BlogNews 2.4.0 this is what the eNews widget now looks like when inserted in the sidebar using the default colour scheme. (see image below)

You’ll note I said default colour scheme. Yes, the appearance of the eNews widget changes with the selected colour scheme.

Here it is when using the Bluegreen colour scheme …

And the red colour scheme …

You get the idea. The eNews widget will take on the look of whatever colour scheme is active. Cool, yes?

This only works when the widget is inserted in the sidebar. When used in the footer widget area it will inherit the regular styling.
