WPCanada is pleased to announce the BlogNews child theme for the Genesis Framework has been updated to version 2.0.
This latest version is a complete rewrite. The first thing you will notice is the child theme is now wider than the original and is much cleaner looking I think. With today’s modern wide-screen monitors it only makes sense to break out of the 960-format. The styling for both the Genesis Tabs and Genesis Responsive Slider plugins have been updated. Actually the entire style sheet has been updated!
I also added some default settings for the Genesis Responsive Slider plugin in the child theme’s functions.php file.
BlogNews is the first of the child themes to undergo a major overhaul. The plan is to eventually update all of our child themes. A couple of the not-so-popular child themes will more than likely be dropped so that I can concentrate on the popular ones.
Oh yeah, before I forget … BlogNews is now responsive! Yah!
