Yes boys and girls the WP Swag Store has finally launched, just in time for Christmas I might add. The WP Swag Store is the successor to the old WordPress Shop that used to be located at shop.wordpress.net. How many of you remember that place? It was kind of a dingy spot with little selection and low stock although I did manage to purchase a WordPress hoodie from it.
The WP Swag Store is a nice improvement. It's not very fancy right now and product selection is somewhat limited but there is a reason for that. From Jane Wells on the WP Swag Store blog,
...rather than make you wait for bells and whistles, we wanted to get it up and running as soon as possible, since people have been asking when they can buy sweatshirts for holiday gifts.
As time goes on look for bigger and better things as I'm sure the product line will expand. I'll definitely be keeping my eye on the place. In the meantime, I did manage to pick out a couple of items that interested me...

For the time being they are going with USPS flat rate Priority Mail with shipments going out twice a week. I can hardly wait for my goodies to get here.
